Black Sheep Poetry

What is this?

Black Sheep Performance Poetry, founded in 2013, is a group of student writers who collaborate to create poetry readings around one central theme or idea. Each of us brings our own unique style, voice, and approach to the topic which is part of what makes every reading such a fulfilling, generative process. Check out some of their performances at FET's official YouTube channel.

How do I get involved?

BEAUTIFUL!! We'd love to have you! Auditions are held at the beginning of every semester. For all of that information you can follow the Black Sheep Poetry instagram, follow FET's instagram, and/or sign up for FET's email list. Once you're all signed up, come to auditions with two poems (ideally with different vibes)! They do not need to be memorized.
